20th Century Steel frame hand car. $3.97. No. 19K1770 The 20th Century Flyer is a new production and is the best and strongest car on the market. Constructed entirely of steel except seat and handle bar, built to withstand hard usage, guaranteed to support 200 pounds. This car is propelled by a lever which is attached to a crank with a frictionless cogged gear action. The fastest most positive and easiest propelling gear ever placed on a hand car. This car is steered by the feet placed on either side of the axle. the frame is made of bar steel well braced and bolted together, enameled black. Axles 5/8 inch hardened steel. All steel wheels extra heavy spokes galvanized and shot with best 1/2 inch rubber tires. Handle bar and seat are made of selected oak, covered with three coats of green paint and varnish, beautifully decorated in red and gold. The gearing is so protected that there is no danger of catching fingers and clothing. While it is great sport for the child it is also a great physical developer.
